Public Housing Program

The WMHA owns and manages 208 public housing units.  We have apartments for families, individuals, senior citizens and handicapped or disabled individuals. 

How to Apply for Public Housing

 We understand the thought of moving can be overwhelming.  Applications can be mailed or faxed to you and may be returned in the same manner.  Please keep in mind if you mail or fax copies of the required documents you will need to provide original documents at the time of your application update appointment.

Applications for housing are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

To complete an application, please provide the following information (photo copies are not accepted, original documents must be presented at the time the application is submitted)

1. Picture ID
2. Social Security cards or proof of legal U.S. status for each household member
3. Proof of household income (paycheck stubs, SS/SSI verification letter)
4. Current police background checks for all household members age 18 and over
5. Proof of all household assets (bank statements, real estate deed, etc.)

Property information

Lebanon

East Ridge Drive and Deas Drive – 25 dwelling units – 12 duplex buildings and one single family home, all are 3 bedrooms, 1 ½ bathrooms with central air conditioning, washer/dryer hook up, garbage disposal, and attached storage shed. 

Ridgeway Court – 24 dwelling units – 12 duplex buildings, all are 3 bedrooms, 1 ½ bathrooms with central air conditioning, washer/dryer hook up, and attached storage shed.

Metropolitan Village – 40 dwelling units – 1 single level building consisting of garden style apartments.  Theses units have air conditioning, wall to wall carpeting, individual patios and a community center.

South Lebanon

Mary Lane – 26 dwelling units – 13 duplex buildings, all are 3 bedrooms, 1 ½ bathrooms with central air conditioning, washer/dryer hook up and attached storage shed.

Middletown

Brookview Village – 35 dwelling units, consisting of 4 one bedroom one level garden style apartments, 16 two bedroom (1 bathroom) townhouses, and 10 three bedroom (1 ½ bathrooms) townhouses, all of these units offer window air conditioner units, electric heat and garbage disposals.  The residents of these units also receive free water and trash pick up.

Franklin

Scattered Sites – 44 dwelling units, consisting of various types one, two and three bedroom units scattered throughout the city of Franklin.  The amenities in these units include washer/dryer hook up garbage disposals and storage sheds. The resident is responsible for paying all of the utilities and for supplying their own air conditioning.
